The family and friends of Bobby Glen Day will celebrate his life of 83 years at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 2, 2022, at the First United Methodist Church, Lubbock, Texas. His family will host a time of fellowship and remembrance from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Sunday, May 01, 2022, at his residence, 8003 County Road 6910, Lubbock, Texas 79407. Bobby passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, April 25, 2022, after a lengthy struggle with Parkinson’s disease.Bobby Glen Day was born September 5, 1938, to Charles Roy Day and Essie Mae Stamps Day in Knox City, TX. Bobby completed high school in Knox City and went on to pursue his lifelong love of sports in basketball at Ranger Junior College. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Technological College, now known as Texas Tech University, in 1965. Bobby was a successful real estate investor, broker, farmer, and rancher in the West Texas area for over sixty years. He was also a 32nd degree Freemason and was most proud of his work as the President and member of the Board of Directors of the Texas Ranger Association Foundation for more than twenty years.Survivors include his wife, Patsy Day; children, Natalie (Taylor) Carmona, Chad (Natalie) Inderman, and Lance (Leann) Inderman; grandchildren, Clara Carmona, Wyatt Inderman, Cooper Inderman, Ashlyn Inderman, Ansel Inderman, Ames Inderman, and Archer Inderman; siblings, Kenneth Day, Clyde Day; Romaine Day Stubbs, and Dessie Day Egenbacher, and many beloved nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Roy Day; his mother, Essie Mae Stamps Day; brothers, Hardy Day and Roy Day.Bobby had a unique sense of humor and could always remember incredibly funny stories to match every occasion. He loved telling them, laughing with his family and friends and then telling them again.
