The family of Billy Phillippe will celebrate his life of 64 years at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 26, 2021, at the City of Lubbock Cemetery. His family will host a time of fellowship and remembrance from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 25, 2021, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Billy passed on Monday, February 22, 2021. He married Darla Norris on September 6, 1980, at the First Baptist Church, Ralls, Texas.Survivors include his wife, Darla Phillippe; their children, Chad and wife, Tessa Phillippe; Trent and wife, Chelsey Phillippe; grandchildren, Stetson Phillippe, Haylee Phillippe, and Emma Phillippe; father, Guy Phillippe; and brother, Larry Phillippe. He is preceded in death by his mother, Elwanda Phillippe.Billy worked for Southern Marketing Affiliates for 29 years as a territory manager, where he developed many positive professional and personal relationships. He enjoyed spending time on his patio surrounded by the lovely landscaping he so diligently planned and planted, and he rescued and nurtured several beloved dogs throughout his life.
