Bertha Beatrice “Bea” Bailey

Bertha Beatrice Bailey, our beloved Sassy “Bea” passed away peacefully at home on Monday, February 25, 2019. She went to be with her Lord and Savior surrounded by her loving family.  All of her family and friends will gather to celebrate her life of 80 years at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers.Bea was born on January 28, 1939 to Preston Vernon Frost and Ozella Cottrell Frost in Elmore City, OK. Bea married Garland Odis Bailey on December 30, 1955 in Clovis, New Mexico.Bea and Odis were blessed with two handsome sons and two beautiful daughters. She worked at Plains Cotton Coop for over 30 years and there she met many of her lifelong friends. She loved being outside working in the yard and riding her lawnmower. Her passion was for her family and after she did not get out much, she used Facebook to keep updated with all of her family and friends. She watched (Church Without Religion) services every Sunday from home.Survivors include her children, Donny Bailey and wife, Dwayna; Cindy Bailey, James Bailey and wife, Karen; and Denise Bailey-Hughes; grandchildren Steven Bailey and wife, Wendy; Dawnya Beauchamp and husband, Zach; Sarah Cook and husband, Ro; Landon Bailey and wife, Missy; Christy Colley and husband, Brian; David Crum and wife, Jenny; T.J. Bailey and wife, Tabitha; Clint Bailey and wife, Jenny; Chelsea Hughes, honorary grandson, Bobby Lambright and wife, Cherity; 23 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild on the way; siblings, Maudie Loveless of Davis, Oklahoma, Ray Frost and wife Linda Jo of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; Linda Sue Hunter of Norman, Oklahoma; and sisters-in-law, Linda Gayle Frost of Lubbock and Eileen Lambright of Hobbs, New Mexico.She was preceded in death by her parents, Preston and Ozella Frost; husband, Garland Odis Bailey; siblings Gordon Lewis, and Opal Jo Johnson and James Roy Frost.She will be dearly missed by all of her loved ones.
