The family of Beatrice G. Garibay is gathering to recite the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. A Mass celebration honoring her life of 95 years is scheduled at 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 20, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Lubbock, followed by a graveside service at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery. She passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025

Beatrice was born January 29, 1930, to Manuel and Timotea Gonzales Guerrero Sr. in Martindale, TX. She married Gilberto Garibay Sr. on December 26, 1953 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lubbock, Texas. Beatrice nurtured her children with patience and wisdom, instilling values of compassion and resilience. Beatrice was a dedicated catholic and made sure her children followed. Her home was always of home-cooked meals and the sounds of family celebrations. Beatrice had a unique ability to make everyone feel special and her kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. After raising her children Beatrice worked for Texas Instruments from1976 and retired in 1991.

Beatrice is survived by her loving children, Blanca (Bonifacio) Esquivel, Pat Rocha, Liz (Arnie) Castro, Michael Garibay (Lorri Garcia), 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 3 great great-grandchildren. Each of them carries a piece of her heart, and her legacy of love will continue to inspire them in all that they do.

She is preceded in death by her husband Gilberto Garibay Sr of 67 years; son, Gilbert Garibay Jr.; parents, Manuel and Timotea Guerrero; siblings, Manuel Guerrero Jr., Lupe Quintana, Armando Guerrero, Ruben Guerrero and Leonard Guerrero.
