Alan Dale Harrison

The family and friends of Alan will celebrate his life of 61 years at 1400 on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at Monterey Church of Christ. A visitation will be held from 1300 to 1400 (1 p.m.- 2 p.m.), followed by a brief service and additional visitation outside afterward.He passed on Saturday, January 16, 2021. In support of his family’s health, face coverings are recommended while attending the service. We encourage you to sign the virtual guestbook and share memories and expressions of sympathy on this page.On March 29, 1959, Alan was born to Wayne and Edwina Harrison in Odessa, Texas. He graduated from Odessa High School, where he played multiple sports.  He then attended Texas Tech University, where he also played football.  He married Darla Kay Walker on July 25, 1987, in Lubbock, Texas.  He served as a Paramedic with Lubbock EMS for 35 years.  He was an excellent Paramedic and Chief during his time, yet, he still managed to spend quality time with his family, friends, and loved ones.He is survived by his wife, Darla Harrison; their children, Chase Alan (Reagan) Harrison, Logan Harrison, Breanna Harrison; grandchildren, Clay Alan Harrison, Berkley Harrison; and siblings, Byron (Sherri) Harrison and Beth Harrison. He is preceded in death by his father, Wayne Harrison, and sister Susan Jones.
