Community education designed with everyone in mind

W.I.S.E. (Wisdom Inspired Senior Education) is our ongoing effort to engage the Lubbock community in one-hour workshops taught by local experts. We regularly invite leading professionals to our funeral home to share helpful tools and resources with seniors in our community. These workshops cover a range of subjects including finances, health, and well-being. At each one, we share food and play fun, educational games. Relevant topics covered in these workshops include long-term and hospice care, assisted living, Medicare/Medicaid qualifications, composing wills, and more.

We are here for you

Our friendly team facilitates a safe and welcoming environment where seniors can learn from professionals and connect with their peers. At each event, we provide various tools and resources to help seniors maintain a high quality of life as they age. Our goal is to support individuals in our community during this unique time of life. These informative events are open to everyone, whether or not you’ve used Lake Ridge services in the past.
