The family of Alton Kent Powers will celebrate his life of 69 years at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 5, 2020, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. His family will host a time of fellowship and remembrance from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, November 04, 2020, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. He passed on Friday, October 30, 2020. In support of the health of his family, face coverings are mandatory while attending the service. W. “Dub” and Frances Powers in Mena, AR. He married Penny Pierce Powers on January 1, 2001, at his mother’s home in Tahoka, Texas. Survivors include his wife, Penny Powers; his mother Frances Powers Thomas; their children, Michele (Kevin) Claborn, of Lubbock, Melissa (Todd) Hosmer, of Lubbock, Beverly Mesker, Paige Frazier, Paris Pittman; grandchildren,Koby Claborn, Zachary Hosmer, Kaylee Hosmer, Cheyenne Miller, Brittney Miller, Shailey Miller, Briley Miller, Mason Frazier, Macey Frazier, Maklon Frazier, Haelyn Hughes, Hilton Cox, Kinsley Cox; sister, Nina Powers.Preceded in death by his father O. W. “Dub” Powers and a sister Aleta Porter.
