The family of Brinda Britton Uren will celebrate her life of 65 years at 3:30 PM on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers with a reception to follow. She passed on Sunday, January 9, 2022.All of those who knew Brinda knew that she loved her family and friends more than life itself because love itself was life to her. She never spared a kind word or a timely and generous hug, and never let a day go by without making sure you knew that you were, in fact, her favorite. Brinda was a lifelong musician, nurse, and devoted follower of Jesus Christ. But to Brinda, there was no greater purpose than to be a loving wife, fiercely protective mother, and a doting and devoted grandmother.On September 14, 1956, Brinda Sue Britton was born to Buddy and Rose Britton in Lubbock, TX. She was married to David Lynn Brooks from 1973 until his passing in 1982, and to Arthur McCrory from 1985 until his passing in 2011. She married Kevin Scott Uren on April 18th, 2015, at Ransom Canyon Ranch House. Brinda lived most of her life in Lubbock, Texas, and Farmington, New Mexico.Survivors include her husband, Scott Uren; children, Tasha Marks, Amy (Nick) Holmes, and Uriah (Megan) McCrory; stepchildren, Miranda (Chris) Pace and Caleb (Angel) Uren; grandchildren, Morgan Moralez, Matthew Moralez, Brenden Holmes, Maddie Moralez, Emma Holmes, and Halle McCrory; step-grandchildren, Grayson Uren and Jaina Pace; father, Buddy Britton; and siblings, Buddy (Debbie) Britton, Jr., Teresa (Randy) Holman, Bonnie (Vernon) Pettyjohn, and Jessica (John) Moberg.She was preceded in death by her mother, Rose Britton, husband David Brooks, and husband Arthur McCrory.We invite you to view the live-streamed service on this page, sign her virtual guestbook, and download her memorial keepsake folder to your device for printing.
