Mary Cunningham

The family of Mary Cunningham will celebrate her life of 94 years with a graveside service at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, April 18, 2022, at Resthaven Memorial Park.  Her family will host a time of fellowship and remembrance from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., Monday, April 18, 2022, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers.  She passed on Wednesday, April 13, 2022.  We invite you to sign her virtual guestbook.On November 21, 1927, Mary Frances was born to Roy and Sue Waldrop in Lubbock, TX. She married her Honey, Don Cunningham on October 6, 1945, in Lubbock, TX.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was affectionately known as Murnie to most of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary thoroughly enjoyed the twenty-plus years she volunteered with Meals on Wheels and the friendships she developed there.Remaining family includes her children, Teresa (Mike) Dailey, of Lubbock, Alan (Stefani) Cunningham, of Lubbock; grandchildren, Stephanie Thurston, Becky Forester, David Dailey, Wesley Cunningham, Makenzi McInnes, Misty Brown; great-grandchildren, Mitchell Cunningham, Rudy Sue Thurston, Grace Thurston, Mekala Forester, Hannah Forester, Sarah Forester, Emma Forester, Caleb Dailey, Benjamin Dailey, Parker Cunningham & Remington McInnes.She was preceded in death by husband, Don Cunningham; father, Roy Waldrop; mother, Sue Foitik; son, Donald Cunningham; grandson, Scott Cunningham; sister, Coystal Kesterson; brother, Leroy Waldrop.
