Sipa, Leon and I were not privileged to have known Anthony in the same way so many of those who loved him, knew him. But I know you and you introduced him to us. He was so friendly and had a smile that not only lit up the room, but made you instantly feel like you were now part of a continuing circle of y’all’s life’. Knowing you, I also knew that he must have been the “one and only” or you wouldn’t have chosen him to be with and create your beautiful family. I feel like we knew him through the delicious food our son Zarin would bring to us from time to time to sample. What a great chef he was. Thank God for him and for you for being there for my son and Sergio and making them feel loved. Thank God for Anthony’s gifts and his ability to serve and be there for so many others, seeing in them what perhaps they could not see, and making them feel special. Thank God for the time you had with him and my prayer is that you find strength, peace, and comfort surrounded by your children, relatives, friends and memories. With love, Elise

From me and my family to you Sipa, the kids and entire family all around, May God Be With U All! I along with my wife and family lift you all in prayer and send our deepest sympathy and sincerest condolences. As you know we go bacc many many years, way bacc to when Silk and Derek both were working at The Buckle in the mall when the Buckle actually had the clothes everybody wanted. Lol Bacc in the Fubu, Vokal, G-unit, Sean John, Phat Farm etc etc days. I remember me and AV was in there probably at least 4 or 5 times a week getting something from Silk and Derek and then catching up with him later that night at Bleachers, Static, Daquiri lounge or somewhere in the Depot. Me and Silk laugh time and time again every time we tell them stories and my wife would laugh at us too as we'd share them with her and then along with a bunch of other stuff that we'll just leave quietly kept but man we'd really smile and congratulate each other on how far we've come from the way we lived bacc then doing the things we did. Silk is definitely a real one, always showed love and respect no matter what, who or where. He'll truly be missed and it was an honor to know him and have him as a friend and around all these years. May God Rest His Soul As He Now Rest In Paradise Forevermore and May God Bless and Continue To Guide and Protect You and the family moving forward! I will cherish every moment spent laughing together, and having the serious conversation we did, in the little 6 years that I knew you. You honestly were the big brother I never had. I read a qoute that said "Friends are the family we choose". You and Sipa embody every bit of that. I will miss you very much, and I know my family will too. You meant a lot to A LOT of people.
