Julie R. Mallindine

Julie Rehage Mallindine, 53, of Lubbock passed away Friday, January 29, 2016 in Dallas. Family and friends will gather for fellowship and remembrance on Monday, Feb. 15, 2016 from 1-2:30 pm at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers.Julie was born on September 21, 1962 to Theodore and Marilyn (Smith) Rehage in Endicott, NY. She attended the University of Northern Colorado. Julie married Bill Mallindine on Nov. 11, 1989 in Longmont, CO. They immediately to Phoenix, AZ and then to El Paso. Texas. Julie, Bill and their four children moved to Lubbock in June 2011. She worked in Institutional Research at Texas Tech University as a unit coordinator, a position that she loved. Julie loved doing anything with her family, reading, needlepoint and animalsJulie is survived by her loving husband, Bill; four children, Noah, Maximilian, Blaise and Gabriela Mallindine all of Lubbock; her parents, Theodore and Marilyn Rehage; a brother, David Rehage and wife Joyce and a sister, Amy Anderson all of Longmont, CO.Memorials are suggested to the The Haven Animal Care Shelter, 4501 N FM 1729-NCR 3000, Lubbock, Texas 79403.
