Jeanette Higgins

Jeanette was born on October 13, 1937, to Albert and Leland Murray in Seymour, Texas. She married Robert Higgins on June 9, 1956, and soon after they moved to Hobbs, NM. They spent sixty years together building precious
memories, a wonderful home, and a loving family. Jeanette graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing in 1973. For nearly three decades she worked as a nurse in New Mexico and Texas, touching the lives of all those she cared for.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Eugene Higgins; children,Beverly Snodgrass and husband, Tommy of Hobbs, New Mexico, Steven Higgins of Lubbock, Texas, and Stanley Higgins and wife, Anne of Albuquerque, New Mexico;
grandchildren, Amanda and Aubrey Snodgrass, Veronica, Lindsey, Connad Higgins;and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert Wesley and Leland Malinda Murray; sisters, Mary and Doris; brothers, William, Albert, and Charles; and daughter-in-law, Athena Higgins.
