Jackie Wyvonne Mount passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018. We will gather for fellowship and remembrance from 6:30 to 8:30 PM Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life of 80 years on Friday, March 23, 2018, at 10 AM at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers with burial following in Littlefield Memorial Park.

Wyvonne was born on September 1, 1937 to the late Claude and Lucille (Priddy) Cook on the family farm in Lamb County. She graduated from Sudan High School. Wyvonne retired from Lubbock ISD and was a member of Bacon Heights Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and crafts of all kinds. Wyvonne loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and traveling to Montana for the summer.

Jackie is survived by her daughter, Melinda Elliott and husband, Greg of Hardesty, OK; son, Jeff Mount and wife, Melody of Livingston, MT; grandchildren, Dustin Scheller and wife, Elizabeth; Jacob Scheller, Jessica Konley and husband, Scott; Sara Rogers and husband Brett, Kayla Mount; great-grandsons, Reed Konley and Riley Rogers, brother, R.J. Cook and wife, Nell of Amherst; sister, Claudine Feagley of Portales, NM; sister-in-law, Rita Wright of Lubbock; and her beloved dog, Khaki.

    To this day, I tell the story how we would be snowed in but could make it to the “Mounts” and Wyvonne would have her homemade salsa set out us for all of us to devour……..great memories!
