Edward Wayne Mahan, 84, of Lubbock, Texas, went to be with our Lord and Savior on July 4, 2016. He was born in Littlefield, Texas, January 9, 1932, to Mary Jane and John Thomas Mahan. Wayne was raised in Floyd, New Mexico. He served in the Army during the Korean War from 1948-1951. He married the love of his life, Mary Lou Boyer in 1952. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by a son, Gary, in 1958. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Mary Mahan; three children, Waynette Ray and husband, David; Denise Wardlaw and husband, Randy; David Mahan and wife, Patti; 8 grandchildren, Kristen, Cody, Megan, Jocob, Aaron, Adrienne, Alex, and Leslie; 8 great-granchildren, McKenna, Ainsley, Aidan, Brylee, Cadie, Sagan, Owsley, and Asher.
