My dad, Waylan Robinson joined his beloved wife, family, and friends in Heaven on December 30, 2021.Dad was born June 10, 1926, to Homer and Leeta Robinson. After graduation from Portales High School, he enlisted in the United States Navy. After serving on a ship, Dad came back to Clovis, New Mexico where he met and married the love of his life, Helen Ruth Bennett, on December 11, 1947.Mom and dad enjoyed opening their home for entertaining, fellowship, dominoes, and Bible studies. They both had a very deep and strong Christian faith.Waylan is survived by his daughter, Linda and husband, Tom Drumhiller; grandchildren, Damon Grubb, Paul Grubb, and Lindsey Robinson; great-grandchildren, Max, Kayla, and Alexis Grubb; and several great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Freddie Robinson of Socorro, NM, and sister-in-law, Sharon Voss of Decatur, along with several nieces and nephews.Waylan is preceded in death by his son, Lowell who passed away on March 24, 2018, and by his beloved wife and partner, Helen Robinson on August 9, 2020; along with his parents; 2 brothers, and 2 sisters.His family and friends will gather for a graveside service at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
