Obituary

Our beloved mother went to be with her Lord and Saviour on November 5, 2017.
Virginia Sue Hogan was born on February 21, 1939, to William Robert and Oleene Bradford in Plainview, Texas. On October 31, 1954, Sue married the love of her life, James Hogan in Lubbock, Texas. They moved to California and attended L.I.F.E. Bible College. After college, they pastored in Sweetwater, Texas, before moving back to Lubbock, Texas, where they permanently resided.
Sue was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend to many! She loved reading, spending time with her family, and watching sports. She loved the Lord with all her heart and never missed an opportunity to encourage others and share her faith.
Survivors include her son, Philip Keith Hogan; daughter, Penny Groom and husband, Mark; two granddaughters, Kayla Kenady and husband, Chandler; and Kelsey Havens and husband, Evan; great-grandchildren, Jaxen Kenady and Ellie Havens; and sister, Kay Bradford.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Robert and Oleene Bradford; husband, James Lawrence Hogan; and sister, Flossie Jean McMinn.
