Virginia Ann Hill “Ginger”, age 66, of Lubbock, peacefully took her place in Heaven on February 2, 2019.She was born on September 22, 1952 in Houston, Texas to Jesse and Betty Phillips.She worked in various sales positions throughout her life. She was a natural born people person and was always looking for a laugh. She was admired by many, and was always available to help those in need.She loved to garden, cook, and enjoyed reading. She adored her dogs, Lilly and Lola. Her grandchildren, and nieces and nephews were her heart’s delight. She loved deeply, and when you told her “I love you”, she always replied, “love you more.”She is preceded in death by her father, Jesse Phillips, and mother, Betty Hittle, and her brother, Curtis Phillips. She has a son, Allen Bilbray, and a daughter, Kim Handley. She has 2 brothers, Bob Bowen and Eric Kennedy, a sister, Rovella Rhoderick, and 2 step sisters, Leah Earle, and Karla Westling and their spouses. She also has many nieces and nephews and family and friends that will miss her.According to her wishes, there will be no funeral, but a private gathering at a later date. Thank you to all of the doctors, nurses, physical and occupational therapists, and staff who tenderly cared for her.“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.
