The family of Vicenta Castro will host a gathering of family and friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 17, 2023, at Lake Ridge Chapel, followed by a service to celebrate her life of 89 years. Vicenta Castro was born to Bonifacio and Guadalupe Castro on March 23, 1934, in Post, Texas.

Survivors include her siblings Barney Castro, Isaac Castro, and wife, Julia; Anna Vaca; Martha Sanchez; Becky Silva and husband, Josh; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bonifacio, and Guadalupe Castro; siblings, JL Castro, Albert Castro, Abel Castro, Juanita Martinez, Esther Ibarra, Lupe Castro, and Carmen Castro.
