On December 28, 1953, Vada Beth married the love of her life, Wendel Mason, at the First Baptist Church in Meadow, Texas. Vada Beth and Wendel enjoyed traveling with friends and family. They also attended many of their grandchildren’s activities.  Vada Beth was a member of the First Baptist Church in Morton, where she served as a Sunday school director and teacher.  She always worked at VBS, where many children of Morton learned many things about the Bible.  Vada was chairman of the hospitality committee that provided plenty of good food for the membership and other events. After moving to Lubbock in 2004, she became a member of Monterey Baptist Church in Lubbock.  Vada Beth also loved attending the Caregivers class in Wolfforth.
