Tommy J. Hamner

Tommy J. was born on January 5, 1928 to Clark and Era Hamner in Trent, Texas. On June 30, 1962, Tommy married the love of his life Faye Bradshaw in Las Vegas, Nevada. Tommy served in the United States Army during World War II from April, 1946 to May, 1947. He then returned home to Trent, TX where he farmed and ranched for several years before entering a 40 year career in the industrial food business, retiring from McLane Foods. Tommy was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, loved spending time with his family and will be missed.Survivors include his children, Gary Hamner and wife, Heather; Tanya Lawrence and husband, Ricky; Danny Felsinger and wife, Nancy; Dana Daniel and husband, Gavin; and13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Billy Wayne Hamner and wife, Betty; sister, Thelda Peters and husband, Ronnie.He was preceded in death by his parents, Clark and Era Hamner; wife, Faye Hamner; and son, Joel Hamner.Memorial contributions are welcome and the family suggests, Beyond Faith Hospice Care of Lubbock along with a special thanks to his hospice nurse Penny Metze, BSN and the outstanding care of the staff at Crown Pointe Health Suites.
