Our love, prayers, and sympathy to all of you. We loved volunteering with Gary, and he became a dear friend. Through his church he gave us our dog, Gabby, because Gabby's previous owners who Gary was helping couldn't care for him. Flora, it meant so much when you and Gary attended our wedding in 2011. In fact, Gary used to bring coffee to a co-worker at the Information desk, and when John started volunteering, John brought us coffee and that's how our romance started. We will continue to pray for all of you. Our love, John and Mary Woods

Gary is a wonderful and Godly man, the hands and feet of Jesus. His smile and hugs are priceless and he demonstrates his love for you in every encounter. My family is blessed by Gary’s friendship. When Hannah Joy was little, Gary announced he would be her “adopted grandfather” a role he has carried on ever since. His impact on her life is profound. Gary is a gracious, caring, kind, loving, generous, self-sacrificing man whose absence will be keenly felt. Well done, good and faithful servant.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Lance Myers left a message on September 21, 2023:
As my great uncle, Gary was one of the men who taught me how to pray. He would always pray these heartfelt, honest prayers of gratitude and thankfulness to God before we would have meals together as a family. All the family would constantly rib him about the food getting cold because his prayers were so long! Nowadays my family tells me the same thing ("the food is cold now!") when I get asked to pray before mealtime, but I just laugh, say "thanks for the compliment," and give thanks in my heart for men like Uncle Gary who live out their faith and delight in passing it on to others in love. Elle and I love you all very much, and we are praying for God’s comfort to surround you all and give you peace.

Sincere condolences to the family. I am so very sorry for your loss. May God provide the necessary peace and comfort to your family and friends during this difficult time. Please remember these words of encouragement from the Bible: “ Jesus plainly told her: “I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life.” —John 11:20-25.

A wonderful person that will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Such a mentor in aviation maintenance to everyone that work with or for this man. May he rest in peace, and may peace and love be with his family and friends.
