Theresa Hill

The family of Theresa Hill will celebrate her life of 80 years at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at Lake Ridge Chapel. Her family will host a time of fellowship and remembrance from 6 to 8 pm, Monday, August 29, 2022, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. She passed on Monday, August 22, 2022.

On September 12, 1941, Theresa Arliss was born to J. B. (Birdie) and Odessa Whitley in Tatum, New Mexico. She moved to Lubbock after graduating from high school. After attending business school, she started her career with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company.  She worked in the Assignment Centre at the time of her retirement. Theresa was an active member of Southcrest Baptist Church. She volunteered time with The Sewing Ladies at The Blessing Center and enjoyed playing Bunco.

Survivors include her daughter Kristy Kitchen, married to Gareth Kitchen; grandchildren, Brendan and Daryn Kitchen. They live in England, United Kingdom.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.B. (Birdie) and Odessa Whitley.
