Theda M Henniger

Theda was born on June 22, 1940, to the late Garland and Jewell (Baker) Wheeler in Altus, OK. On August 29, 1957, she married Clarence Henniger in Lubbock. Theda was an active member of Indiana Avenue Baptist Church, serving on the bereavement and missions committees, and involved in the Emmaus community. She and Clarence also assisted in baptism preparation. She enjoyed the time she spent working at the Museum of Texas Tech Gift Shop. Theda will be remembered for her giving heart and always meeting the needs of others before her own. Theda spent many hours cross-stitching and quilting beautiful pieces for her home and her family.Along with her parents, Theda is preceded in death by her brother, James Wheeler.Theda is survived by her loving husband, Clarence Henniger; three children, Donna Kelly of Midland, Carolyn Seiler, and Gary Henniger and wife Kristy all of Lubbock; five grandchildren, Stephanie Weatherby and husband Kyle, Kent Kelly and wife Tabitha Haussecker, Staci Seiler, Jill Henniger and fiancé Marshall Elliott, and Rachel Henniger; eight great-grandchildren, and a sister, Jeanette McCarty.
