Terry Pitts was born March 20, 1947, to John and Ethel Moody Pitts in Lubbock, Texas. He married Bette Henry on February 5, 1972, at First United Methodist Church in Levelland, Texas. He received an Associates Degree from South Plains College and Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Texas Tech University. He and his father open several parts stores in Levelland and Sundown Texas which he ran until his retirement. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and attending their sporting events. He loved to play golf with his son. He enjoyed getting together with his friends from Lake Ridge Chapel group to play card games and have fellowship. He loved to watch baking shows as well as eat out with his family.

Terry is survived by his children, Amy Shriver, Brad (Brandy) Pitts; grandchildren, Aiden Pitts, Addison Pitts, Kameryn Nichols, Bailey Shriver; brother, Kelley (Jill) Pitts.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Bette Pitts; and John and Ethel Pitts.
