John Terry Briscoe of Lubbock passed away on June 17, 2016, at the age of 72. He was born on June 21, 1943, in the Houston area and grew up in Beeville, TX. He attended college and graduated with a degree in alcoholism counseling in Albuquerque, NM. He enjoyed playing jazz drums and being with his family. He was preceded in death by his sister, Carrell Anne Childress. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Ruth. Private services to celebrate his life are pending.
