Teri Marcene Pebsworth went to be with our Lord peacefully, at the age of 66.  Teri was born August 8, 1955, to J.A. and Joyce (Williams) Pebsworth in Lubbock Texas. She was the oldest of three children. She graduated from Tahoka HS in 1973.  She attended LCU 1973-1975, TTU 1977, then attended and graduated from Methodist Hospital School of Nursing LVN program in 1976, and then her RN Degree was completed in 1981. In 1982, Teri moved to Dallas to pursue her career in Nursing.  Although hospital names changed several times, Teri worked at RHD Hospital for over 35 years, until 2017.

Teri was a dedicated member of Walnut Hill Church of Christ for many years.  She actively served as Sunday School Teacher, was part of the Praise and Worship Team, but also helped with welcome luncheons and many Ladies Retreats and Bible studies.

Due to declining health, Teri moved to Portales, NM in 2017, to be closer to her brother. She was actively a part of the 3rd and Kilgore Church of Christ.  She attended Ladies bible class and helped with many meals hosted by the church.  She became involved in area Senior activities and made many new friends.

In 2020, she moved with her brother and sister-in-law, Todd & Robin to Lubbock.  She enjoyed her two nieces and watched her great nephew grow up.  Her ability to be physically at church was complicated by covid.  Her faithfulness shined by her studies of scripture and online worship services.

Teri is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Todd, and Robin Pebsworth of Lubbock, two nieces, Shadarah Pebsworth of Lubbock and Natalie & and husband, Mason Heald of Petersburg. And one great nephew, Asher Heald.  She had many others she considered “family” in the churches she was a part of.

Teri was preceded in death by her dad, JA in 2009, mother, Joyce in 2016, and a brother, Tim in 2003.
