Obituary
The family of Sue Pebsworth will celebrate her life of 76 years at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Her family will host a time of fellowship and remembrance from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM, Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers, prior to the service.
Our beloved mom, Nanny, and friend went to be with the Lord on February 9, 2022. On May 25, 1945, Sue was born to H.P. and Loretta Jones in Tahoka, TX. She met Jerry Pebsworth while working at Lyntegar Electric, and they married on July 24, 1964, in Tahoka, TX. She worked for the Texas Department of Human Services for 30 years when she then retired and began her second career for Residences at Shadow Hills as the assistant manager for 17 years. She enjoyed shopping with her daughters, spending time with her family, and caring for her dogs, Tye and Macy. Sue was a lady known for her style and beauty; we can only imagine how exhilarated Jerry was to receive her in his arms for the first time in heaven.
Survivors include her children, Kim (Brian Durham) Paris, Tamyra (Jerry) Simmons, Kent (Amanda) Pebsworth; grandchildren Shea (Wes) Hester, Jerid (Micki) Pridmore, Josh (Janea) Pridmore, Michael Paris, Trevor Cook, Caleb (Mecca) Durham, Jaymee Smith, Casey (Ashleigh) Simmons, Colton (Lexi) Simmons, Cade (Peyton) Simmons, Kyler (Terri) Pebsworth, Brayden (Abby Richardson) Pyles, Jayce (Jaye Gosett) Pebsworth, Taylor Pebsworth, Kole Pebsworth; 23 great-grandchildren; siblings, Charles (Frances) Jones; Wanda (Bonzo) Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Pebsworth; father, H.P. Jones; mother, Loretta Jones; son-in-law, Danny Paris; sister, Barbara Cook; brother, Frank Jones; brother, Tom Jones.
