Jeff Allman left a message on May 25, 2024:
I was sorry to hear of Steve’s illness and passing, and my condolences go out to his wife and family. I knew Steve from our working together at a psychiatric center as well as our common 12-step fellowship. Steve had compassion for others, which was evident in his work with psych patients, as well as as those suffering from addiction. Again, my condolences to his family.
Larry & Chris Valdez left a message on May 16, 2024:
We met Stephen & Kerry through Christian & Joanna, who we've been fortunate to know for several years, as Christian lectured for the Texas Tech Museum art history series. Stephen was a thoroughly delightful person, so full of wonderful stories. He apparently had a very rich life and was very happy with his family. I wish we'd had more years to get to know him better but we are very grateful for the brief time we shared. Having recently lost family, we can empathize with Kerry, Christian, Joanna and the family's sorrow. We wish we could do more than just send our condolences, but we send them with all our love.
