I had the pleasure of knowing Stephanie as I am a friend of Yazmeane. Although I may not have gotten to know her as well as many other people in her life, I am still grateful to have met her, even if for a little bit. I remember always being welcomed into Yazmeane's and her mother's home in high school. I am always thankful for those moments in my life as it has allowed me the opportunity to build a life-lasting friendship in a time when I needed it the most. It gave me great comfort knowing that my friend's mother had opened her home to me. I also remember that you both enjoyed whatever I had baked, thank you for letting me share that with you. Yazmeane has always been a kind and caring friend to me, and it is very clear to me that she gets these traits from her family, especially her loving mother. From their quick and witty nature, to their contagious laughter, and to their kindness and compassion, I am blessed to have experienced even a little bit of it. Your legacy will always live on with Yazmeane and I thank you for giving this world such a sweet and loving daughter. May you rest in peace in heaven.

I’m extremely saddened to hear of the passing of a great friend. I always looked forward to our training sessions. She was so funny and energetic when she came into Crunch and you could feel the positive energy she brought into the room. We used to joke that she was the “owl” because on her last couple reps of a set she would make a hoo sound. We knew the work was getting done because the “owl would come out”. I’m very blessed to have been a part of her life and I’ll always miss the training sessions, laughing and talking about our favorite regaetoneros. My deepest condolences to the family.
