Obituary
The family of Sarah Yeisley White will celebrate her life of 80 years at 10:30 am on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers, in Lubbock, Texas. Her family will also host a time of fellowship and remembrance from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, December 3, 2021, at Lake Ridge Chapel. She passed peacefully on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, in Wichita, Kansas. On July 11, 1941, Sarah Carolyn was born to Cecil and Louise Lynch in Lorenzo, Texas. She married Dean Yeisley on June 12, 1958, and had two children, Randy and Missy. Later in life, she married John White on April 22, 2000. Survivors include her husband, John White of Boerne, Texas; sister, Pam Hillin of Benbrook, Texas; children, Randy Yeisley and wife Stephanie of Wichita, Kansas, Missy Lorenz of Littlefield, Texas; stepchildren, Daryl White of Irving, Texas, Greg White and wife Debbie of Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas, Debbie White of Harper, Texas, and Patricia Renick and husband John of Iola, Texas. Sarah also has nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, Cecil and Louise Lynch; siblings, Jon Lynch, Saundra Lee, and Vera Cox and son-in-law, Rodney Lorenz.
Sarah was a member of Lake Ridge Baptist Church in Lubbock, Texas. She taught young children, college and career-aged adults, and mature adult ladies’ Sunday School classes during her adult life. Sarah’s passion was sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and ministering to the needs of the less fortunate. She had served as a counselor at Billy Graham Crusades and was also involved in prison ministries along with her husband, John.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Memorial Fund at Lake Ridge Baptist Church in Lubbock, Texas.
