Sammye Lee Furrow

Sammye Lee Furrow passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016. A gathering of family and friends is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, January 15, 2016 at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. We will celebrate her life of 90 years at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2016, followed by reception at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. McCleskey in Floydada, Texas. On September 18, 1944, Sammye married R. T. in Floydada, Texas.Survivors include her son, Larry M. Furrow and wife, Cindi, daughters, Tricia Young, Lisa Lou Thomas and husband, Neal; four grandsons, Chad Furrow, Nathan Young and wife, Cheri, Trevor Thomas and wife, Sydnye, Tucker Thomas; three granddaughters, Christi Giese, Crystal Smith and husband, John, Taylor Harris and husband, Will; 19 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, R. T. Furrow, who died on July 31, 2009.
