It is with both a sense of sorrow and a spirit of celebration that we announce the passing of Ronnie Rosson, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who left us on Friday, January 17, 2025. Born on March 3, 1951, in Lamesa, Texas, Ronnie lived a life marked by passion for the game of golf and a deep love for his family.
Ronnie was a proud golf professional, dedicating his career to sharing his enthusiasm and expertise in the sport he loved. He brought a wealth of experience to West Texas. Ronnie played collegiate golf at Texas Tech University. He earned the West Texas PGA Player of the Year 13 times. His legacy, filled with joyful memories on and off the green, will live on in the hearts of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Ronnie is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Rosson, daughter Natalie White and her husband Derrick, along with grandchildren Austin and wife, Elizabeth White and great-grandchild Berkeley, granddaughter, Haylei White. He is also survived by his brother J.D. and wife, Teri Rosson, all of whom he adored and who will cherish their time spent with him.
Join us as we honor and celebrate Ronnie’s life at a Celebration of Life that will be held on January 24, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. We will gather to share stories, laughter, and love, paying tribute to the remarkable man he was.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Eulis and Maxine Rosson, and sister Sheri Parrack.
