Graveside Services for Ronald B. “Ronnie” Traylor, 79 of New Braunfels, Texas will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, July 5th, 2022, at the Crosbyton Cemetery in Crosbyton, Texas, with Eddie Fitzgerald officiating. Ronnie went to be with the Lord on July 1, 2022. He passed peacefully in his home in New Braunfels, Texas. We invite you to sign his virtual guestbook here on this page.He was born on June 20, 1943, in Wake, Texas to Lynn B. and Jimmie Elouise Traylor. He attended his early school years in McAdoo, Texas, and graduated from Crosbyton High School in Crosbyton, Texas in 1961 where he met the love of his life, Doris Jean Harkins. They were married on September 3, 1961, he often referred to her as the angel he lost too soon.Ronnie volunteered as a firefighter in both Crosbyton and Hereford, Texas.He started his work career as an apprentice printer before opening his own business, Pica Printing in Lubbock, Texas.He then moved into a new career in the chemical, and water treatment, business in Hereford, Texas along with farming in Lamb County. He ran these successful businesses until his retirement.Ronnie was an avid golfer and loved horse racing and Las Vegas. In his words, ‘ I know horses and football.’ He was a lifelong Texas Longhorn and Dallas Cowboys fan. Seldom was he seen without a burnt orange shirt and a Longhorn hat.He is survived by his daughter, Micki Lynn Moses, and husband Troy of Cotton Center, Texas; daughter, Misty Alane McLean, and husband Monte of New Braunfels, Texas; two sisters, Connie Allen and Brenda Yell; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents, Lynn B. Traylor and Bill and Jimmie Wilkinson; his wife, Doris Jean Traylor; and his beloved older sister, Jimmie Lynn Hamersley.
