The Heavenly Father whispered Reba Jeanette Burks on January 10, 2017, and said, ”Come with me into my Kingdom”.Reba was born on May 7, 1933, to James and Dana (Roberson) Burks in Ouachita, Arkansas. She lived in Lubbock for many years before moving to Sundown, returning to Lubbock in 1991. Reba was a homemaker and had a full time job raising her of Fresh Fire Fellowship and several women’s groups at the church. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and watching the Weather and History channels.She is preceded in death by her parents, a son, David Lancaster; and a grandson, Nathan Neel.Reba is survived by six children, Marie Kirkendoll, Debbie (Eddie) McCarver, Carolyn (Joe) Neel, James (Patti) Ward, Jonathan Lancaster, and Jackie Lancaster; eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; two brothers, Howard Burks and William Boyd; and two sisters, Betty Hicks, and Jean Cole.
