Wayne Robinson was born August 4, 1955 in Corona, CA to the late Don and Edna Robinson. He graduated from Slaton High School and spent most of his career working as a General Contractor. Wayne’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to start his commercial contracting firm, WR Construction, Inc. in 2003.Wayne enjoyed hunting, fishing, participating in classic car shows, weekends at Lake Alan Henry, and most of all spending time with his family and friends.Wayne is survived by his three children, Jayson, April and husband William, and Erica and husband Daniel all of Lubbock; five grandchildren who deeply loved their “Poppy”, Karisma, Madison, Nova, Jackson, and Greyson; a brother Ronnie of Lubbock and sisters, Donna and Dianne of Austin, and a very loving friend who was constantly there for him, Tina Grim of Lubbock.Wayne will be remembered for his integrity, easy smile, and being a friend to many.
