Coach Pectol was my basketball coach at Monterey (class of ‘95). Wonderful memories of that time. I’m so sorry for your loss, he was a great coach.

Dearest Nannette, family, and friends of Dale, There are no words to say or prayers to pray that will take away the human grief of losing Dale. I first became acquainted with Dale at LCU. Later our children attended LCHS together! After decades and miles we became reaquainted

Dale Pectol was my basketball coach all 4 years of high school. I adored, respected and trusted him. We went to the state tournament all 4 years and won 2 state titles. Jump forward around 7 years and I had the honor of coaching along side him while at Monterey high school in Lubbock. I learned so much from him about coaching, what it takes to run a program and how to make my players not just better players but to be better people! I used everything he taught me to successfully run the girls program in Plano ISD for the last 25 years of my 30 year teaching/coaching career. Coach Pectol will be sorely missed.
