Ralph Bruner Mabry of Lubbock, TX passed away at the age of 87 on May 18, 2023, with his family gathered around him.

Ralph was born in Houston, TX on April 15, 1936, to parents Ralph Lester Mabry and Hazel Bruner Mabry.  Ralph married the love of his life, Bobbie Marlene Reynolds, on November 28, 1957, in Lubbock, TX, and recently celebrated a 65th wedding anniversary.  Ralph was survived by his wife Bobbie Reynolds Mabry, children; Ken Mabry and wife Laura Mabry, Marilyn Rhyne and husband Kent Rhyne, David Mabry and wife Jennifer Mabry, and Linda Nix and husband Craig Nix; eleven grandkids Craig Rhyne, Katherine Reed, Kathryn Rhyne, Travis Mabry, Rachel Elequin, Michael Mabry, Will Nix, Gretchen Mabry, Margaret Mabry, Caroline Nix and Emily Nix; one great-grandchild, Graham Reed and his sister Ethel Ellison.  Ralph was an MIA-certified real estate appraiser and had owned his own appraisal business for over 30 years.  Ralph was previously a Lubbock real estate broker and had farmed in both the Petersburg, TX and Tahoka, TX areas.  Ralph served honorably as a member of the U. S. Air Force.  He was a long-time member of First Baptist Church Lubbock.

I am saddened to learn of the passing of Ralph. I became acquainted with Ralph through the Lubbock Association of Realtors Commercial luncheons. For years, Ralph attended faithfully, and was always a pleasant and interesting conversationalist. I admired Ralph in numerous ways, as he was witty, kind, honest, and extremely knowledgeable in broad spectrums. I pray his family will be comforted with peace and God's Blessings.
