Pete Gonzales

Pete “Vigotes” Gonzales beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend passed away peacefully on Saturday March 1, 2025 at the age of 70. He was born in Lubbock, TX on September 27, 1954 to Pete & Ofelia Gonzales.

He was an artisan – skilled carpenter who built beautiful pieces of furniture. He also worked on countless of remodelings.

He enjoyed traveling with his wife and visited Europe and Canada.

He was preceded in death by his infant son Jeremiah Gonzales, his parents Pedro & Ofelia Gonzales and his oldest sister Sylvia Pina.

Pete is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 25 years Roda, his 2 sons Eric (Misty) Gonzales and Isaiah Gonzales; grandsons Davien, Oliver and Zevion; sisters Cindy de la Garza and Norma (Felix) Dela Rosa.

We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived and for the deep impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
