Peggy Givens Robbins was born on October 2, 1932 to the late Ray and Lena (McClure) Givens in Crosbyton, TX.  She was a lifelong resident of Lubbock and graduated from Lubbock High School. Peggy was an active member of the LHS Distinguished Sub Debs.  Peggy retired from Texas Tech University where she worked in the Student Union as secretary.  In 1985, Peggy married Ike Robbins. She was a member of Trinity Church.  Peggy enjoyed many activities including crafts, gardening and playing bingo and bridge.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a son, Stephen Sandlin, a grandson, Sean Sandlin, and brother, Kenneth Givens.
Peggy is survived by her daughter, Susan McIntire and husband Larry Dillon; a daughter-in-law, Jalain Sandlin, two
grandchildren, Josh Sandlin and wife Anna, and Jennifer Gill and husband Mike, two great-granddaughters, Haley and Sydnie Sandlin; a brother, Morris Givens and wife Darlene all of Lubbock; and her beloved puppy, Annie.
