Born on April 13, 1943, Peggy was raised on a dairy farm in Pep, New Mexico. As the youngest of a very large Pentecostal family, she traveled the country ministering and singing with her brother Travis. Throughout her life, she carried a strong work ethic that she passed on to her children. Her passions included interior decorating, fashion, doting on her husband, children, and grand- animals, music, dance, and using her gift of prayer ministry to provide a light to so many people. She was married to the love of her life, Todd Anderson for 38 years.
Survivors include her husband, Todd Anderson; son, Gary Anderson and his wife Saowanee; daughter, Rachel Anderson; brother, Travis Bates and his wife Barbara; and sister, Josephine Cook.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, elder brothers and sisters, numerous cousins, and many precious grand-animals.
The family of Peggy Anderson has designated the Guiding Eyes for the Blind which provides life-changing guide dogs for people with vision loss, for memorial contributions donated in her memory.
