Paula was just a funny, kind and great mentor to me when I started working for Epimed and then Dr. Racz when she retired. We tried to talk every couple of months and I always needed at least an hour for her stories. We laughed so much. Sending love and prayers to the family.

I was in your seventh grade class at Atkins, and I will never forget you, Mrs Brashear. You are a lady who literally changed the world one student at a time. You have made such a difference for so many and in so many ways.

I'm so sorry for the loss of such special lady and friend. Paula and I met when my husband was finishing his last year of Tech in 1964. My husband went to work for Bob part time. Paula was so kind and sweet to two then Tech Students. It was like having a mom and dad away from home. Eleven years later, I moved back to Lubbock and put my children in Rush Elementary. One of the first people I saw was Paula and we continued a long friendship. So many things in Lubbock are better because of her contributions. I love you and will miss our talks about TTU athletics, Paula.
