A service to celebrate the life of Paul Eugene McKinney’s 72 years of life is scheduled at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers, followed by a time of fellowship with family and friends. Paul Eugene McKinney was born August 22, 1950, to Ray and Wauldene McKinney in Littlefield, TX. He married Deanna Widner on December 26, 1976.
Paul was voted class favorite and graduated from Littlefield High School in 1968. Paul was a traveling salesman, selling products ranging from billboards to pantyhose during the first part of his career. He became interested in health care and went to school to get a Master’s Degree in Health Organization Management. He was the administrator of several rural hospitals during his career. He retired in 2020 from Martin County Hospital District in Stanton, Texas.
Paul and Deanna were members of Southcrest Baptist Church in Lubbock. They were active in their Sunday school department and enjoyed being with the class members. Paul never met a stranger and was loved by all he met. He will be greatly missed but an even greater asset in heaven.
Paul is survived by his wife, Deanna McKinney; children, Jason McKinney and wife Cheryl, Tonya Alexander, and husband Levi; grandchildren, Hagan Alexander, Brewer Alexander, Kadie Alexander, Michael Morrison, Jordan Morrison; great-grandchildren, Sean Morrison, Walker Morrison, Matthew Morrison, Hunter Morrison; siblings, Ray McKinney, Rita Chapman.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Wauldene McKinney.
