Pastor Paul left a message on June 24, 2025:
I am Pastor Paul of Christ Church Orphanage. We urgently need new adopters to provide a loving family. People from all walks of life can adopt children, but in particular we are looking for adoptive parents who will be able to meet a child’s needs. And to those of you looking for a baby to adopt, there are children; twins, boys and girls here. Like all families, adoptive families come in all shapes and sizes. Interested couples looking forward to adopting the babies should please contact us now. So if you’re thinking about starting the adoption process then please contact us now at: christchurchorphanage@gmail.com and our website is; Christchurchorphanage.blogspot.com You can also give your donations and charity to the orphanage. There is no need for these children to suffer any more so PLEASE HELP by coming to take them for adoption or donating to the orphanage. Help the little children. Thank you very much. God bless you as you come.

Sue, I am so blessed to call you and Oscar my friends. I will cherish forever the visits I made to your home with Wayne. We learned so much about your lives together and your 70 years of marriage. Your respect for each other, character, love of God and all His creations are forever an example for me. We shared fellowship, laughter, communion and prayer. I will truly miss Oscar and look forward to seeing you when I am in Lubbock. Love, Donna Spore

Linda Taylor left a message on June 12, 2025:
We’ve known Oscar for 40 years. We went to Westmont Christian and First Christian with Oscar and Sue. He was also the shepherding elder to my parents, Jesse and Frances Evans and sat with my dad for many hours as he was on hospice care. When my dad died, my mother gave Oscar the Disciples of Christ tie that I had given to Dad a few years earlier. Every time Oscar saw me at church he would grin and wave that tie at me. It warmed my heart every time. I’ve always loved Oscar for many more reasons. I consider him a saint! God bless Sue for being such a great caregiver. I love her too!
