Nicole Anne Cornell

Nicole was born on September 25, 1999 to Jay and Denice Cornell in Lubbock, TX. She was an eighth grader at Frenship Middle School and participated in several Harvest Festival fun runs. Nicole loved family gatherings, playing dominoes, and theater. She also enjoyed her time alone to listen to music, watch videos, read, or paint. She was an athlete in Special Olympics, participating in bowling and bocce ball. Nicole was an active member of the Monterey Church of Christ youth group. Nicole will be missed for her determined and loving spirit and her great sense of humor. She was preceded in death by two grandfathers, John Cornell and Jerry Day.Nicole is survived by her loving parents, Jay and Alana Cornell of Lubbock; her mother, Denice Cornell of Shallowater; a brother, Justin W. Buhrdorf-Williams and wife Madelyn of Denton, TX; a sister, Meredith L. Williams and husband Phil of Lubbock, TX; paternal grandmother, Jo Cornell of Clovis, NM; maternal grandparents , Lloyd and Barbara Neil of Clovis, NM; maternal grandmother, Helen Day of Lubbock, TX; and a nephew, Bensen Ross Buhrdorf-Williams.Memorial contributions may be made to Frenship Middle School, FMS Special Education Department, P.O.
