Naomi Faye Wilbourn passed away November 12, 2018. A time of fellowship and remembrance is scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m. today, November 17, 2018 at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers, followed by a graveside at 3:30 p.m. at the City of Lubbock Cemetery to celebrate her life of 83 years. Naomi Faye Wilbourn was born on December 13, 1934, to Buford and Verna Carlton in Olton, Texas. Naomi married Carroll Wayne Wilbourn on July 2, 1955, in Clovis, New Mexico. She attended Plainview High School and Business College. She worked as an accountant and General Manager in automobile sales. She was very active at Indiana Baptist Church and she loved the Lord.
Survivors include her daughter, Lynne Brown; grandchildren, Amanda Lyn Wadding and husband, Donovan; Jerrett Alan Wilbourn and wife, Lindsey; Brant Alan Wilbourn and wife, Ashly; Silas Brown and wife, Kelly; Tyler Brown, Alyson Sloan and husband, Jared; Laci Dreyer and husband, Steve; great-grandchildren, Jett, Taya, and Axel Brown; Grady, and Ellie Wilbourn; Emersyn, Keatyn, and Kollyns Sloan; and her brother, Marty Carlton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Buford and Verna Carlton; husband, Carroll Wayne Wilbourn; and son, Jerry Wayne Wilbourn.
