Nancy Nell Boone passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019. Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life of 80 years at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 26, 2019, followed by a reception at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers.Nancy Nell Boone was born on September 30, 1938, to Thomas “Bill” and Lillie Grace Walker in Lone Oak, Texas. Nancy married Douglas Boone on June 1, 1956, at the First Baptist Church in Shallowater, Texas. Nancy and Douglas spent the next 63 years building a beautiful life for themselves and their children. Nancy, known as “Nanny” to her grandchildren, truly had a heart of gold, and she loved her family unconditionally. Her kindness and patience influenced all who were lucky enough to know her.Survivors include her husband, Douglas; children, Rick Boone and wife, Lara; Davona Paschall and husband, David; and Kimberly Boone; grandchildren, Ian and Drake Boone; Eli Beck, Lillie and Tristan Paschall; Hillary Brown and husband, Chad; and Will and Nancy Porter; great-grandchildren, Porter Brown, and Lawrence Beck; brothers, Tom Walker, and Gary Walker and wife, Carol.She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas “Bill” and Lillie Grace Walker, sister Shirley Ann, and brother Wesley Morgan Walker.

To the family, I am so sorry for your loss. My deepest sympathy goes out to you. In times like these we can sometimes feel alone but Psalms 34:18 tells us that Jehovah God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. At Revelation 21:3-5 we can find a beautiful promise for the future when Jehovah does away with all causes of suffering including, pain, mourning and death.
