Nancy Ellen Whisner, born on July 25, 1937, in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, passed away on October 23, 2023.

Nancy was a devoted wife to her late husband, Chuck, for nearly 50 years. She was an active member of the Red Hat Society and worked as a legal secretary for the City of Lubbock under Judge Powers. Her warm smile, loving nature, and unwavering devotion to family will be deeply missed. Nancy leaves behind a legacy of love and beautiful memories that will be cherished by all who knew her. Nancy found immense joy in her family.

She is survived by her 4 children, 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and their chosen spouses: Patricia Ann Wise ( Frank) and their children Farrah Erbar (her son Nolan), Michael , Anthoney (Miranda and daughter Ella), Francis (deceased), John Edward Whisner Sr. (late Wanda), and his children, Alicia (Jacob and sons Caiden and Cole), John Jr. (deceased), Lesley Anne Rundell (Donnie and their daughters Logan (Dylan and their daughter Layken) and Alyssa), and Charles Louis Whisner Jr (Sandra and their sons, Christopher, Nicholas, and Dominic).

Clarke and Anne Cochran, formerly of Lubbock, send their sympathy to Charles and the entire Whisner family. We recall fond memories of your mother (and father) when our children attended elementary school with you in Lubbock. Later, of course, Sandra and her family would be our neighbors. Coincidentally, as we come to the end of October, I remember your talented mother crocheting an amazing Spider Man mask/costume for you, Charles, when we first met your family. She was always generous with her smile and willingness to help with any school or church project. God bless you all with comfort, and with the joy of good memories of her life.
