Mittie JoAnne Squires

Mittie JoAnne Merritt was born on April 18, 1951 to J. T. and Mittie Merritt in Lubbock, Texas. On August 1, 1998, Mittie JoAnne married the love of her life, Jim Squires. She retired as developmental therapist in the Early Childhood Intervention program for Frenship ISD.Survivors include husband, Jim Squires; children by marriage James and Jennifer Squires of Dallas (grandchildren- Hannah & Tyler), Jared and Dana Squires of Lubbock (grandchildren- Sydney, Carson, & Sawyer), Matt and Erin Phillips of Lubbock (grandchild- Kai); brother DeWayne Merritt of Lamesa, sister Patricia Davis & husband Elton Davis of Hereford, and sister Sandy Johnson of Lamesa.She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Merritt.
