What a man of God! Mike loved Jesus, Rosa, his family, clients and so many others. His heart, smile, and wisdom blessed so many. I would love to have seen Mike’s smile when Jesus said, Well done good and faithful one.

I couldn’t close Mike’s celebration of life service, it was impossible to read out loud! Today is a month since he entered the presence of the Almighty God so I’ll share some here of what I was planning to say then! First, I would like to thank our family members and friends for all the prayers and the overwhelming amount of love that Mike received the last year of his life. No doubt in our minds that these were God ordained and timely delivered at the most precious moments. We felt good to know we were not alone and we could actually feel the prayers. From calls, cards, worship songs, many visits, delicious food to even the perfect resting place - Mike and I are so thankful to y’all!! There is so much I will love to share but then yet, I could talk about him forever:) Mike was an exceptional christian man with a heart of gold. He was kind, honest, generous and never vain. He never had anything that he wasn’t willing to share. So many have expressed how their lives and careers are better today because of him.. I am not surprised, he loved ministering to anyone that would listen!! **Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it. Hebrews 13:2 His steps were directed by God, he was never in a particular place by accident. He only made decisions after considering God’s directions. I give him the credit because I know I was just simply his loyal helper. I always trusted that whatever job he gave me, under his direction, it will most likely be successful as many other times before! ( I have many stories to share, some funny ones too ) . I know everyone that knew him loved him and He loved y’all :)) As a family man, he was our spiritual head and umbrella, always pouring God’s word into each one of us every chance he got. He was bigger than life! He was sick for over a year and waited until he fulfilled a promise he made to his dad. He was a perfect son! Whenever in question, he always directed everyone to seek God first. We loved when we could see Mike in our children and grandchildren, a perfect father and grandfather. Because of this influence, now his legacy will live forever. As my husband, I can best describe him as my gardener, my keeper… always loving, protecting, caring and providing for me everything I ever needed. By the end, when he saw me crying he told me he would never want to do anything to hurt me, what a man!! He said- “the only thing I regret is leaving you but this is not goodbye, this is I’ll see you later”. Perfect husband and my hero!! I am the most blessed to have him as my husband for 35 years and for that, I will always be so grateful to God🤍 Love those that God has given you in your life because one day God will want them back. I thank God for the time He gave us with Mike! My God keep and bless y’all! Rosa

I’m just so heartbroken that I could not be there today to celebrate your life. You are the only father I have ever known. No matter how many times in this life that I got myself into trouble or had to learn “life lessons”, you were always there for me. I will miss you very much. I am so glad that we got to spend time together this summer. I know how much you loved your grandkids and they brought you joy. They always cared and loved you so much. I know your time on earth was spent impacting so many lives for the better. You truly did the Lord’s work and are His servant. Now you stand by His side. I have read our text messages over and over again. I love that you were always proud of me! Thank you for loving Marvin, Omar and myself unconditionally. You took such good care of mom and we promise to do the same. So for now, it’s “see you later”. Love you always❤️ Lynn

Mike and family I send my deepest condolences. Mike was a true mentor to me and I the stories we shared from the “watermelon” stand to me helping out and purchased a mobile home property in Bithlo. We also traveled to Honduras together and truly ventured into some wild adventures to give back and contribute to those less fortunate. When I think of Mikes lessons ( Hard work, family & god first, making an impact is more important than making money). I just treasure all of the experiences during my college years and will b there in spirit today! I will forever hold you al in my prayers! Love Jason the “Watermelon kid”

Mike was such a kind person. He had time for my questions no matter how busy he was. Even as he had his own health issues he was always more concerned about how others were doing. We will miss him.
