Micki was a devoted employee of Texas Tech University, retiring in 2016, she and Cliff continued to attend sporting events for years after. She was passionate about spending time outdoors at the family property, Ruff Acres, and in her own beautiful garden where she hosted weddings and the annual Skeeter Fest every summer. She had an imaginative spirit, taking much pleasure in arts & crafts and for anyone who has visited her beloved home can attest to, antiquing, junking, and renovating. Both her and Cliff enjoyed traveling the United States, making new friends, and collecting many souvenir spoons along the way. She was an active member of Highland Baptist Church, volunteering much of her time to the betterment of its ministries and members. She was a loving wife, mother, and Nana delighted in watching her family grow with every grandchild, great-grandchild, and grand puppies.
